Music has a profound ability to positively impact and change lives. My desire is to make music available to anyone who is willing to learn, thus making the world a brighter and happier place.
I am a passionate educator who finds great joy in teaching and inspiring students of all ages. This led me to to receive my Masters degree in Violin Pedagogy from Western Kentucky University, under the tutelage of Dr. Ching-Yi Lin. My goal is to establish technically sound students while nurturing a love for music. I use the Suzuki's method, coupled with that of Mimi Zweig and Paul Rolland, ensuring that each student has a multi-faceted approach to learning that works best for them. I offer lessons in Durango and Silverton, CO, as well as online through Zoom.
Music has the power to add depth and emotion to all of life's events. I provide solo violin, or a duet, trio, or quartet to serenade your special day or event in the Southwestern Colorado region. I perform a wide variety of music, including classical, pop, and world music, and can arrange music if it is not in my repertoire.
